Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of ForgeFox, operated by Richard Hickman trading as ForgeFox, United Kingdom. By subscribing you agree to these terms.

1. The service

ForgeFox provides a booking and business management platform for independent wellness operators on a subscription basis. We provide the platform — you are responsible for your business, your clients and your compliance with applicable laws.

2. Subscriptions and billing

Multi-location billing

Additional locations are billed monthly at £5 per location per month, added to your existing subscription. Locations can be added or removed at any time. Additions are charged pro-rata for the remainder of the current billing period. Removals take effect at the end of the current billing period — no partial month refunds on removed locations.

3. Free trial

New subscribers receive a 14-day free trial. No charge is made until the trial ends. You can cancel before the trial ends with no charge. After the trial your chosen plan is billed automatically.

5. Data and ownership

You own your customer data. ForgeFox processes it on your behalf as a data processor. You can export all your data at any time. On cancellation we provide an automatic data export and delete your data within 90 days.

Salon Hub data isolation

In Salon Hub arrangements, each practitioner sub-account holder is the data controller for their own client data under UK GDPR. The salon master account holder (data controller for room and rental data) does not have access to practitioner client records, booking details or financial data. ForgeFox acts as data processor for all parties. Practitioners are responsible for their own privacy notices to their clients and their own GDPR compliance.

6. Service availability

We aim for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We are not liable for losses caused by downtime, bugs or service interruptions. In the event of planned maintenance we will provide advance notice where possible.

7. Limitation of liability

Our liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 30 days prior to the claim. We are not liable for lost revenue, lost bookings, or any indirect or consequential losses.

8. Service discontinuation

If we discontinue ForgeFox we will provide a minimum of 90 days notice, keep the platform running during that period, provide a full data export to every operator, and refund any prepaid subscription fees pro-rata.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will notify active subscribers by email with 30 days notice of material changes. Continued use after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
